Aeronautics Aviation Team

Come and meet our Aviation team members!

Howdy! My name is Logan Burrow, LB for short. I am twenty seven years old and live in Perrysburg, Ohio. My home course is Woodlands park. I first picked up a disc as a senior in high school, but really started getting into it after I graduated. My favorite thing was traveling around and playing every course possible! It wasn’t until I was playing a solo round at Woodlands (circa 2019) when a local invited me to come play in a doubles league the following week. After that I found a whole world of disc golf that I didn’t even know existed. I got my PDGA number later that year. Fast forward to now, I host rotating Wednesday doubles at Woodlands/Ottawa (the very league I was invited to back in 2019) I have played in Over 120 PDGA events, twenty plus wins, Helping design and install Railside DGC at Passive Park in Millbury, Ohio.  Accepted my first cash at the NADGT Tour Finale in Jacksonville, Florida. Played in sixteen different states and two countries (US & Canada) and have accumulated Sponsorships from Aeronautics Disc Golf, Kastaplast Mint Team, Mythic Disc and Go Throw. Other hobbies include Macrame Jewelry, Snowboarding, Skating and Glassblowing.

Hey! I’m Aidan McSweeney, and I’m excited to be on the Aeronautics Team for 2024! I hail from Charlotte, NC, and have been playing since 2019. I played very casually at first, but quickly found a love for meeting people and watching great shots at competitive events in 2021. As of 2023, I’ve played in 35 PDGA events, several unsanctioned events and leagues, and 120 disc golf courses (with my favorite being Northwood Black). My “home” course in NC is Bradford Park, and my “home” course in MI is Stony Creek. I love playing wooded courses that force players to use every shot in their bag, while also allowing for creativity! My favorite disc is my 10X KJ Nybo Teebirds, as they’re controllable in the woods and long-flying in the open. I’ve also spectated a lot of live disc golf at DGLO, USDGC, and Ledgestone! My favorite players to watch include Ricky Wysocki, Garrett Gurthie, Ohn Scoggins and Valerie Mandujano. For my goals in 2024, I want to approach every round and every event with a positive and fun mindset. I want to host my first PDGA event, and give back to the sport. Finally, I’m most excited to be playing in my first ever PDGA Major at AM Worlds! Teaming up with Aeronautics fits all of my goals for the year, and I look forward to spreading the brand and growing the sport.

Hi my name is Alex Baker, I've been playing Frisbee sports since I was around 5 years old, when my father put an Ultra star in my hands. We would regularly play on disc golf courses with a Frisbee, and once I got to high school, I began playing Ultimate and did so until I graduated college. I also played baseball as a kid until high school and was particularly affluent in batting, becoming a pinch hitter for several travel teams. Just before the COVID era (Oct 2020), I decided to pick up a starter set and attempted to play Kensington Green Shorts with no idea of how to throw a disc. It went terrible, starting off throwing my Colossus about 50ft straight left, I went home after three holes. It wasn't until the COVID isolation that I decided to try it again with some friends as an isolation activity. I got hooked pretty quickly after watching form videos and reexploring my abilities from previous sports. I am naturally left-handed, but I learned to throw a Frisbee with my right hand, only fortified by my extensive experience as a pinch hitter. As a result, I drive with my right hand, putt with my left hand and am able to use both hands effectively to scramble out of nearly any situation. This is my second year with Aeronautics Disc Golf, and I compete primarily in the MA1 division, although I plan to move to MPO after competing at the Amateur majors this year. For work, I use simulation to mitigate and resolve issues in the molding of plastic parts for several different industries. In addition to disc golf as a hobby, I am also a competitive trading card game player and worked my way to 21st in North America during my time playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Hi my name is Nicholas Robertson, Intense, disciplined, and committed are a few traits that I would use to describe myself on the course. I like to say that I'm a full-time disc golfer and a part-time business owner. I spend the majority of my time practicing, playing, traveling to tournaments, or watching disc golf. A few of my accomplishments in disc golf have been - 2020 PDGA Am1 points winner - 2020 AM1 Ledgestone winner - 2021 AM1 Ledgestone winner - 2022 AM1 state champion (Michigan) - 46 PDGA wins -10 Pro wins - 177 career events since 2019 - 105 events 2022+2023 I support my disc golf journey with my own business called H20 Drainage Systems, I fix wet basements and wet yards. If you know anyone with a wet basement, let me know. Aeronautics is one of my main sponsors this year because we have a similar goal of starting from the bottom and making it to the top with nothing but hard work and dedication. One of my favorite things is helping people get better, I'm starting to do some coaching this year. If you have any questions about form/putting/tournament mindset, feel free to ask away when you see me.
